What a Successful Check-In Looks Like

Once you’ve checked in a guest — either by scanning their QR code or entering their ticket manually — the app gives instant feedback so you know everything went through correctly.

Here’s how to confirm it.


✅ Visual Indicators After Check-In

🟢 Checked In (Green)

  • Ticket has been successfully scanned or marked

  • No further action needed

  • The guest is officially inside


🟠 Partially Checked In (Orange)

  • Only some tickets in a group order have been used

  • Remaining tickets under the same order can still be scanned later

  • Ideal for staggered arrivals (e.g. families or friends arriving separately)


🎯 What happens on the screen?

  • The status color updates (Green or Orange)

  • A confirmation banner or vibration appears

  • The guest’s name may be greyed out or moved down the list (depending on filter settings)


🔄 Mistakes happen — what can you do?

  • Accidentally checked in the wrong person?
    → Contact your FOH lead or support team — undo is currently manual.

  • Need to review who’s been checked in?
    → Use the filters at the top of the event screen to toggle between statuses


🚫 What if you can’t check in the ticket?

Common issues:

  • QR already scanned

  • Wrong event or date

  • Invalid or duplicated ticket

If that happens, validate the ticket info again or search manually by name/ticket code.
