Not all tickets are created equal — some are sold, some are gifted, and some are just waiting to be paid for.
This article breaks down what each ticket type means on your CloudJoi dashboard, and how they affect your sales, capacity, and settlement.
🟢 Online Tickets
These are tickets purchased by patrons directly through the CloudJoi platform using:
-
Credit/debit cards
-
Malaysia E-wallets
-
FPX / online banking
-
BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later)
-
PayPal (International Currency)
They are issued automatically after successful payment, and count towards both your sales revenue and your total issued ticket count.
💡 Online tickets include service and handling fees — your payout is calculated separately during settlement.
🟠 Offline Tickets
These are tickets created manually by the organiser for patrons who:
-
Paid via cash, credit card terminal, or manual bank transfer to you
-
Didn’t go through CloudJoi’s checkout
To issue offline tickets, organisers must:
-
Go to Orders > Add Order
-
Select “Offline” and complete the payment record
-
Generate a QR code and send it to the patron
🔄 These orders are included in your Total Sales and QR Check-In. Service fees and handling fees still apply.
🟡 Complimentary Tickets
Issued at zero cost — either manually by the organiser or through a ticket tier set to RM0 or 100% discount.
Use cases:
-
Media, sponsors, performers
-
Internal use or VIP access
-
RSVP events
They do count toward your event’s total ticket issuance and fill-up rate — so keep an eye on capacity.
🔵 Reserved Tickets
This type is for pending payments. You create a reserved order (usually to ease form-filling), and send a private payment link to the patron.
How it works:
-
Patron receives a link valid for 24 hours
-
If paid → it becomes an Online Ticket
-
If unpaid → it expires and returns to the ticket pool automatically
Used when:
-
You want to hold a seat for a specific guest
-
The patron prefers paying later
-
You're assisting less tech-savvy customers
🧾 Reserved tickets don’t count toward Total Sales unless paid.
