Last updated on June 8, 2026

Overview

CloudJoi supports Malaysia's e-Invoice requirements and manages e-Invoice workflows for eligible transactions processed through the platform.

Our goal is to simplify compliance for organisers while providing a seamless experience for buyers.

How CloudJoi Handles e-Invoices

CloudJoi manages several types of invoice-related documents:

Buyer e-Invoices

Buyers may request an e-Invoice for eligible purchases made through CloudJoi.

Where applicable, CloudJoi handles:

  • collection of buyer information,

  • submission to IRBM's MyInvois system,

  • validation of e-Invoices,

  • and delivery of validated e-Invoices.

Consolidated e-Invoices

Where permitted under applicable regulations, eligible transactions may be included in CloudJoi's consolidated e-Invoice submission process.

Self-Billed e-Invoices

CloudJoi may issue self-billed e-Invoices as part of organiser settlement and compliance workflows. Learn more about self-billed here.

Platform Fee e-Invoices

CloudJoi issues invoices and e-Invoices for:

  • platform fees,

  • service fees,

  • add-on fees,

  • promotional services,

  • and other applicable charges.

Will This Change My Settlement?

No. Your existing commercial arrangement and settlement terms with CloudJoi remain unchanged.

The introduction of e-Invoices is intended to support compliance and documentation requirements.
